The team at Next Gen Eco are extremely proud to be sponsoring two teams at our local football club, Consett AFC, this season!

Belle Vue Stadium, the home of Consett AFC for over 10 years, is about half a mile out of Consett town centre and the entire club works to support and nurture new talent onto the pitch.

The club provides a welcoming and supportive environment to ensure players are encouraged to work hard and come together through a love of football.

This season we will be the Home and Away Cup strip sponsors for the Consett AFC reserves and the Consett Ladies team and as a North East Business, we see this as a great opportunity to support our local community.

Not only this, but we are very proud to be supporting the growth and progression of women in sports.

Over the last few years, women’s football has seen huge growth with interest in the sport up 12% in comparison to before the UEFA Euros.

Huge names in football as well as huge brands are uniting to support the growth and open pathways for young women and girls into football. This rise in popularity is now being reflected in local clubs with a higher interest in joining and more local businesses rallying to support the teams.

The Next Gen Eco team is always looking for ways to support locally and is proud to get involved in any way we can to help.
