I’m Damian, and I lead our sustainability team here at Next Gen. A typical day in my role involves juggling a variety of tasks to ensure that we’re not only meeting but exceeding our sustainability goals. Let me take you through a day with me!

One of my core responsibilities is ensuring that we maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, and accreditations, and that all staff training is up to date. This involves meticulous attention to detail and ongoing communication with our team to ensure that everyone is aligned with our sustainability practices.

I spend a significant part of my day liaising with suppliers and contractors. From sourcing sustainable materials to collaborating on innovative projects.

Organising work for the staff is another important aspect of my role. From scheduling installations to coordinating maintenance tasks, I ensure that our team is working efficiently to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Admin tasks and handling invoicing are also part of my daily routine, ensuring that operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

Complaints handling is an inevitable part of any business, and I take pride in addressing customer concerns with empathy and efficiency. Resolving issues promptly and effectively is crucial to maintaining our clients’ trust and satisfaction.
